Henock Dory

Henock Dory currently serves as Special Assistant to former President Barack Obama. In this role, he oversees day-to-day operations, engages in project management, and provides executive assistance in support of President Obama and his post-presidential engagements. 

Henock previously served in the Obama White House as a Policy Advisor for the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. In this capacity, he supported Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett and her team’s mission of engaging state and local governments, the private sector, organized labor, and advocacy groups to inform and promote President Obama’s policy priorities. 

Before his time at the White House, Henock worked as an Associate at Hamilton Place Strategies, where he conducted issue analysis on a wide range of policies addressing education, international trade, and community-level economic development. 

A California native, Henock earned his B.A. degrees in Political Science and Classics from Stanford University in 2014. He currently lives in Washington, D.C.
