Michael Andeberhan is an Executive Director and Head of Investment Consultant Coverage at MSCI in New York, where he is responsible for overseeing client relationships across the United States. In his role, Michael leads engagement on behalf of MSCI’s index and ESG product suites to institutional consultants. In addition, he serves as a key account manager for select global clients.
Prior to joining MSCI, Michael was a Vice President at Callan Associates in San Francisco, where he counselled institutional clients on investment policy design, asset allocation and investment manager selection. Previously, he was a consultant and researcher at Verus Investments, where he co-authored papers on fundamental indexing, endowment spending policy and capital market assumptions. Michael began his career as an Associate at HighMark
Capital Management in Seattle. Born in Eritrea, Michael earned an MS in Finance from the University of Utah and a BA from Washington State University. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and a member of CFA Institute and CAIA Association. Michael actively volunteers to non-profit organizations including Oliver Scholars, Young African MBA’s and Eritrean Diaspora Network.
