Michael Andeberhan

Michael Andeberhan is an Executive Director and Relationship Manager at MSCI, where he works with clients on behalf of MSCI’s equity and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) products. He’s also a member of the 401K Investment Committee, Executive Diversity Council, and cofounder of MSCI’s Black Leadership Network.


Prior to MSCI, Michael was a Vice President at Callan Associates where he worked with institutional investors on strategic planning, asset allocation, and investment manager selection. Previously, as a consultant and researcher at Verus Investments, Michael’s responsibilities included advising clients and authoring papers on factor investing, endowment spending policy, and capital market assumptions. He started his career at HighMark Capital Management.

A proud first-generation Eritrean-American, Michael earned his BA from Washington State University, MS from the University of Utah holds the CFA and CAIA designations. He sits on the Executive Committee at the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA), where Michael is Vice-Chair for Diversity & Inclusion. He’s also active in several nonprofits focused on underserved communities including Oliver Scholars, Rising Leaders, and Habesha Networks, where he sits on the Board.
